CHAPTER LIFE
- Sisterhood -
Our chapter prides itself on its strong sisterhood. Sisterhood is the beating heart that keeps our sorority alive. It is the reason we all came together. Our sisterhood provides a source of love, joy, and mutual support. We do not discriminate against anyones race, culture, family background, sexual orientation, values, beliefs etc. We admire each member for who they are and celebrate the diversity of our sorority. It's our individuality that makes each of us unique in our own way. We cherish each other's distinctive personalities.
Throughout the year, we host many sisterhood events to have fun, let loose but most importantly strengthen the bonds and friendships that we have with each other. For example, we've had movie nights, gone bowling, had sleepovers, ate dinner with each other etc. Each year is full of new, amusing and exciting things to do. We can't wait to have you join and experience our sisterhood!

- Academics -
The sisters of Kappa Sigma Psi believe that education is the key to success. We strongly emphasize the importance of academics because SCHOOL COMES FIRST.
Whether you are a Science major, Engineering major, or Arts major, we expect each member to make their education their number one priority.
We are one of the few sororities that do not have a specific GPA requirement for members since some programs have different minimum GPAs for students to be able to stay in their stream. But we do require each member to be in good academic standing with their post-secondary institution.
To encourage proper study habits, Kappa Sigma Psi host mandatory study sessions for its members.

- Philanthropy -
Kappa Sigma Psi Alpha Chi Chapter proudly supports Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Throughout the year, the sisters of Kappa Sigma Psi will host and participate in many philanthropy events. In addition to that, we also do community service here in the Durham Region to give back and help out those in need (for example: feed the homeless, pick up litter, etc.).

Every holiday season, Alpha Chi Chapter writes Christmas Cards for Canadian Forces and visits local retirement homes. It's our way to spread a little holiday cheer.
Look out for our philanthropy event announcements here on our website and on our Facebook page if you would like to donate or participate.
